R v Rihimi [2006] Blackfriars Crown Court

Attempted murder led by a QC. Victim was a police officer; defendant had significant mental health issues. Ten day trial.

R v Constable [2006] Snaresbrook Crown Court

Armed robbery of cash in transit vans. A ten hander charged as a conspiracy. £1.5m. Junior Counsel.

Seven hander. Sexual abuse of children in one family. Defendants included both parents. High profile case, led by a QC.

R v Ali [2008] Snaresbrook Crown Court

Nine hander rape/conspiracy to pervert justice. Four QC’s instructed. Issues of terrorism and informants arose. Senior officers from Scotland Yards Terrorist Squad gave evidence. Sixteen days of legal argument. Acted as sole counsel.

R v Perkins [2008] Southampton Crown Court

Five hander violent disorder. Five week trial. All defendants youths. Sole counsel.

R v Jagpal [2008] Southampton Crown Court

Six handed affray. Cut throat defence, first three defendants white racist youths other defendants Asian shop keepers all related. I represented one of the Asians and was one of only two acquittals. Sole counsel.

R v Burnell [2009] Reading Crown Court

Attempted murder. Represented young defendant (20) with mental health problems. Ten days of evidence. Sole counsel.
